This is an exchange of dialogue between Ashley and the main character, Michael. They just met in the middle of a desolate, Post-Apocalyptic wasteland, so obviously they're overjoyed to find eachother. Just read Ashley's lines one after the other, and respond as if you were reacting to the other character. 

                                   ASHLEY (O.S.)
                         Hey you! Are you deaf?!


               Michael TURNS, and to his amazement, his ears haven't
               deceived him. A young, beautiful woman APPROACHES.


                                   MICHAEL
                             (Ecstatic)
                         A survivor?!


               Ashley shares the same enthusiasm.


                                   ASHLEY
                         Well it's about time I found you!


                                   MICHAEL
                             (Curious)
                         Huh?

                                   ASHLEY
                             (Almost embarrassed)
                         No, I mean... Well, not that I was
                         searching for you, but for, just,
                         somebody.


                                   MICHAEL
                             (Overjoyed)
                         I thought I was the only one, you
                         know, like... not completely
                         obliterated!


               Ashley lets out a brief chuckle.


                                   ASHLEY
                         You're not.  There are others, like
                         a couple of us... and we've been
                         searching for survivors.
                             (BEAT)
                         Hey, you wouldn't happen to know
                         anything, would you?


                                   MICHAEL
                         Um...


                                   ASHLEY
                             (Apologetic)
                         About the End, I mean.


               Michael scratches his head.


                                   MICHAEL
                         Not a damn thing.

                                   ASHLEY
                             (Disappointed)
                         Oh... you too, huh?
                             (BEAT)
                         Um, yeah so, we haven't...

               Michael quickly interrupts.

                                   MICHAEL
                         My name's Michael.

                                   ASHLEY
                         I'm Ashley.
